violin sonata no 1

hi . i am miss darkangel . and this thread , i would like to introduce my work (unfinished) in YC. This is my first time that i post my work in here , and i am glad that i finially have a place for post my work in public (internet)

this is the first movment for the violin sonata no1 , and it is very slow tempo (largo) and the basic idea is bitonal . the accompany and the main theme are different in key

and the 2nd movement is composing for now , and i hope it would finish as soon as possible

The Aim of This composition is to find my own musicial style and secondly i would try to make a musical style which can express something understandly to other audiences , i know i need a lot stuff to improve , i know this work is very childish , but for a unexperience composer , i would said i had tried my best already , but i will willing to try to improve myself and my composition skill in the future

thank u

god bless you

P.s . pls leave me some comments for me

violin sonata no1 part 1 introduction.MID

Shouldn't this go in the unfinished works subforum/section??

Just sayin'.

I found it pretty cool tho. What with the droning piano and all. Sorry I can't be more thorough in my analysis, but I'm sort of busy ATM. :>

Finish it, too. It's nice, it should be finished.

thank you

this is the first movement, and the second movement will be much longer than this movement

so , if you say this is unfinished work , i dont think so , becasue this movement have been finished and i saw some of the works with muti-movements , they can be post on YC one by one .

so i think it is ok to post in here , i hope , :P

I don't generally dabble in bitonality but I like this.

Can you interweave the piano and the violin anymore?

They trade off the melody, certainly, but they dont seem to communicate with each other much. I suppose its hard to put into words...it sounds more like two people reading prepared statements after each other rather then a conversation or, I suppose, in this case, an arguement.

That being said, I like the piano chords, and I like a couple ideas the violin has. The violin does seem to shift around a lot, whilst the piano seems to keep to one main motif.

I would love to see this piece finished.

Cheers, Brian.

Yeah, I didn't find it that seamless.

The piano and the viola kind of flirt but don't make love.

I think that is a good way to put it.

I'd analyze the harmony but... bleh... not right now.

hi

thank you for your comment , i do agree that the piano part and violin part are not fully "make love " each other , that may be my mistake

The piano parts had divided into 2 parts one is accompany part and other one is main theme part , the accompany part used powerchord (heavy metal ) to accompany the theme

I need you thank you . You remind me the reaction from the parts , so i deicide i will try to notice later on

the main theme which can be run though between both parts or all of the parts

but in this music i decided try to place the theme on the violin part mostly . the reason is becasue this is a introduction

The second movement will fullly react with all parts by one main short rhythmic theme

Thank u

Be careful, you have an impossible double stop at one point in the violin (G - C).

And in a violin sonata, the violin part goes ABOVE the piano part.

i forgot the double-stop

IT would be my honour to have your comment

Sir

thank u

P.s. i think i know "in a violin sonata, the violin part goes ABOVE the piano part

" , i will correct the notation after i finish the second movement
