Can anyone tell me if this small section of my etude is possible to play up to speed?

Featured Replies

It's bar 15 to the end of what is there.. I can play everything else, but this is giving me a problem playing up to speed haha.. So if any of you more experienced pianists could try that and tell me how it goes that would be really helpfull.:):) Thank you!

Right hand, eh? How long have you been playing?

For fingering I reckon I'd use (I'll break them up into six notes sets) 4 3 2 3 2 1 | 5 3 1 4 3 2 3 2 1 | 5 3 1 2 3 4 1 2 4 | 2 3 4 1 2 3 | 2 3 4 1 2 1 then high Bb as 5, then 4 3 4 3 1 and same as before from there on.

What kind of tempo are you looking at? I could get it at least crotchet/quarter note = 100... possibly 110 or so if I worked on it.

* Edit: forgot there was a MIDI... checked yet and yeah, that's about as fast as I worked it up to in just a couple minutes. Definitely playable and manageable. *

I've been playing for about 6 months now but I've been playing other instruments longer before that, so it was a bit easier to pick up and move along.. but my fingers aren't very stong or used to this kind of movement yet... so I do my hannon as much as I can and all of that haha..

Thank you so much for that! It's very nice of you to take the time to do that.

And yes, I was hoping for 100 or 110 exactly, so that's very good to hear..
