Well... what do you want your chorus to do in terms of the rhymes. The lines all have the same vowel sound, but don't actually rhyme, except for the last two. It seems intentional, until you get to those last two lines, where we get a perfect rhyme.

As to the actual content, I don't know quite what the song is about from the lyric, though I can guess from the title. Your chorus feels more like a verse than a chorus. You want your chorus to be something you can repeat over and over with very little variation. Perhaps what you have could really be more of a verse, and you could find a new idea for the chorus; something that really sums up everything the song is about.

Other than that, it's hard to help when we don't know where you want the song to take you or how you want it to sound musically. Even some musical sketches would help. Plus a skeleton or arc of how the song will be eventually.

ok if you want I can sing it with the music and the chorus. Too show you why I think its good.

In all serious though, it's hard to take lyrics seriously that say, "Please don't press Ctrl Alt Delete".

I mean, unless the intent of the song is to be lighthearted silliness to begin with. I can write silly lyrics, or serious lyrics. But like others have said, hearing the music that you have in mind would help considerably.

So please do sing it for us so we can get an idea of the mood you're trying to set. Also the meter and cadence can help to inspire lyrics as well.

The other thing that would really help too is if you have a short paragraph or description of what you'd like to convey. I can take a short story, or description and turn that into verse. In can even be in bullet form, (just a list of points you'd like to get across). I might differ a bit from the original plot, but it would help the inspiration process.

I'd be glad to take a stab at serious or silly if I have some clue of what you're looking for. I enjoy writing lyrics just for the fun of it.

Just sing the chorus, and save only that much of it to a file in MONO. And post it. That would help a lot.

I still have no idea how you actually sing your lyrics to your music. Once I hear the chorus actually being sung that would help me a lot to figure out how to write the standard verses.

I’ve changed your chorus around a bit too. I sang these lyrics to your music, but I’m not a good singer. It’s also not in an easy key for me to sing to. Plus, I think you need some bridges between your chorus and your main verses.

That's what I thought at first too, but it actually fits in there kind of alright the way he has it set up. Did you hear my sick recording of it?

I know my performance really sucks big time, it's off meter, off key, and just about everything else you can think of. But none-the-less I think the ideas are generally workable if a true musician and singer could get a handle on it. ;)

I think a line like "Please don't press ctrl alt delete" is really only going to work well in poppy/rock. But that's the line the whole rest of the piece is centered on. That's what he wants to do. It's a geeky plea for romance. That's what it is.

The world of romance needs to accept geeks as part of their culture. That's the whole point to it. ;)

The whole point in music is to express who you are and what your true feelings are. If you only write music to pacify the limitations of others then you'll never express your true self.

You gotta be who you are and do what comes natural to you. It's the only way to be true to yourself. Anything less is false pacification to try to appease those who are stuck in a box of superficial limitations. ;)
