I use Cubase as my sequencer and various combinations of the following sample libraries:

EWQL Symphonic Orchestra Gold XP Pro

EWQL RA

EWQL Stormdrum

EWQL Colossus

EWQL Symphonic Choirs

Garritan Personal Orchestra

Garritan Jazz and Big Band

Big Fish Audio First Call Horns

Big Fish Audio Celtic Instruments

Sounds like I need to begin illegally downloading things again like the good old days

Thanks for the info. So how much was all of that?

Holy crap, you have no idea...Let's put it this way, working part-time all the way through high school barely paid for it.

Do you have any idea how long that would take? The EWQLSO Gold is something like 33 gigs... (if you go for the Platinum Pro version you're looking at nearly 200 gigs).

RA is 14 gigs.

No idea what SD size is but knowing East West it'll be huge.

Colossus = 32 gigs.

Choirs is around 40 gigs.

So, unless you have one HELL of an internet connection, this will take a LONG time to download. Not only that but I don't even know if it's possible to crack them, with the whole iLok security thing most of them have.

As for cost... all that would cost A LOT :P

Alright then I'll just erm... I don't even have that much space. Sounds like i need to rob some banks like the good old days

I have bypassed this thread a number of times simply because everytime I opened it up, the first page had never changed, so I figured you had nothing new going on and therefore I ignored it.

For some reason, this time I went further in the thread and noticed you were adding new pieces to it. So now that I have listened to the new stuff I can give one major piece of advice. IF you wish to always use this thread to showcase new work, it would be beneficial to you to add the links to your new work into the original post. Just edit the first post and put the new piece at the top and then others will have no problem finding them.

I wish I was able to take music classes as I know how much it can make life easier when you know what you are looking for.

Very nice works here

Thanks Ron. I hadn't thought of editing the first post and I didn't really want to clutter up the forum with a thread every time I finish a track. Though, it seems that the people who start a new thread with each new track seem to get more responses, so I might try that soon.
