Rock-Instrumental piece

Ahem. Anyway. As I had stated before, it is a rock-instrumental I did. I'd just like some input, criticism whatever...

My thoughts: I should turn the "solo" down a little bit, as well as the train the passes from the left channel to the right. (I did it in stereo). I dislike referring to the solo as a solo, though as I did not intend it as a solo but it almost came out as such. Anyway, FEEDBACK PLEASE *puppy eyes*.

How difficult should it be to get competent hosting for free?

A different feel might bring out the solo part a bit differently, it could deemphasize it like you wanted...

My only real complaint is that it doesn't really go anywhere - it seems like half a song. That might have been what you were going for with the name Trainride, but you end up SOMEWHERE on a train, even if its back where you started (Done that a few too many times...)

The mix could have been stronger, what are you running?

Overall though, its a nice transitional track :)

It is rather a small piece. I am write a concept album and this song is what 'takes' you to (for instance) from song A to B...It's like the little hidden letter between A and B. I know it does not make a lot of sense as is but I hope this gives a little more clarity. And this isn't the final mix, it's just the best sounding one so far lol. There is a still a drum part that I need to add at the end and I want to record the "solo" a little better, I wasn't playing at my best there.
