clowns walk

Featured Replies

I wrote this piece (clowns walk) for education purpose. This is for painist to improve on articulation on different registers. To really have an effects on clowns walk i used decorations like glissando.spreading of chords and staccato in different registers.I believe this piece would be a good piece to work on articulations. Please give me soon feedback on my composition.

piano solo 1.MUS

piano solo 1.MID

as an etude I find this useful as a standalone piece i don't find this strong enough.

I can see what you're doing, but seeing as it is so short, maybe you could extend it a bit and try some more extreme registers for staccato etc. If its really going to be a study/etude for education and technique development. Also, maybe the bassline could have a bit more interest and movement.

However, that said, it is quite a good piece and some nice harmonic movement is going on. Good work!

I do welcome more feedback

i like it. :)

If you are thinking of this piece as something intermediate students would play and not something that would show up on a professional program, I think you did an amazing job.

I am assuming that is what you mean by "Educational purposes," anyway.

I like this one! As a training piece for piano students, it's good as it is, but as a composition I would develop it further. You can take this one quite a bit further, I'm sure--two or three minutes should be easy, and rewarding. Run through all the changes you can think of, and the longer version would be a treat for the listener as well as giving the more advanced student more of a workout.:)
