Umm.. o and btw if u want me to listen to ur song or anything PM the topic link or something because my let lags to the max and I cant scroll thruogh all the topics here... I cant listen to mp3 files becuase my comp will do something funny..

Wow. I really liked the "What we did together" one. THe melody on that is beautiful and the lyrics are great. i must say, however, i'm not very fond of the piano accompianment on it though (up till 1:49 It seems too loud and harsh for the melody). I think you should try to to make it more softer (in volume and just in general.) Some rolling chords and appregios would be nice. Then, when you add in the violin and stuff (or whatever ever it was you added in) it becomes much better, to me. But, it does seem like you put too much symbols in toward the end and i don't really like the clapping sound you have there....keep the symbols (just put less of them) and get rid of the clapping things. ALthough i crotiqued a lot of things on that one...i really did like it. I thought it was beatiful. GREAT JOB!

Now for the preiview:i don't know why, but i didn't really like that one. I don't have anything to critquie on it, other than i just didn't really like it...i don't know why. I loved your other one though!

please don't hate me!!! and good work!

What we did together

Nice cross between pop and... something... can't tell what, but it's mostly pop from what I can tell. Good piece however, with a nice melody, the standard minor drop off, and the comeback. All tried, tested, and approved methods of generating good music.

Good work.

I really like it, but maybe you should add some diversity to it. You could at least make some variations in the "interlude thingie", as you call it. ;) I agree with PianoGirl on the issue of the harshness of the piano at the beginning of the song, but seems like you fixed it in the second file. I don't know why, but this reminds me irresistibly of Coldplay, which is good! Now, I know this is a midi file, so it can't possibly sound like you intend it to, but don't fret, I'm sure it's great when played on real instruments by real people. Cheers!

I am loving the introduction; it is confident, and dangerous. This reminds me of playing games like Siphon Filter or Metal Gear, lol, when sneaking around, trying to stay hidden. Excellent use of the harmonic minor scale. I like the piece, overall. It has a minimalistic style to it, which I think really adds to its personality. Great work! :)
