I know it's not the most patriotic sounding music, but I named it so I could enter it into a competition - the theme was "My Favorite Place." Cheesy, I know. But, that's it's name, so patriotic it is. Whatever.

Hello,

I'm new here and am just browsing through. This piece does strike me as very American, especially the recurring theme. The melody that starts at around 2:24 gives me an impression of some early settlers finding a big pasture and looking hopeful : ) It's quite beautiful! Personally I think the whole piece would be more powerful if you start at 0:43 -- a more direct opening with greater impact.
