Piano and String Orchestra

Featured Replies

So I sang Shubert's "Standchen" and I really liked the base line of the piano in the first 4 measures. Which was the chord progression I VI iv V. I then started improvising on top of that line. And then I wrote this song, which is based completely on that chord progression. Except once I have a deceptive cadence, other than that it is just that chord progression. It's 3 and a half minutes long, and I think I'm done. Still debatable, but here it is. A piano and a string orchestra.

The wave link 404'ed for me.

I enjoyed it, it was very good. I'd love to be the pianist playing at this.

Although, it's a little bit too homophonic for me. The instruments are playing at the same rhythms, and it gets a bit boring in that sense.

Yeah I have to admit, it is really perpetual motion like. I have decided to add onto it though, and there is a little more variance, but it still follows the perpetuality most of the time.

I changed the link, hopefully this one will get you to the right place.
