I appreciate you doing this for YCers. There are a lot of competitions here so you sometimes have to publicize more aggressively (yes it is a pain to fo that!). There are nice things in it, however I didn't understand everything. In the slow movement, there are some interesting ideas, but I can't say more than that. In the faster movement.. Hm. I think there are some 'wrong' notes. So when the cello starts the song, there are strange notes. When there is the piano, it's not strange. I really liked the theme starts at bar 44, and I really like the falling bars (56-57). If you want, I wiill play it in May. I'm not sure about the recording. So.. I had moved on to several other pieces long ago. To be honest, I completely forgot about this, as my course took over. You could try posting another thread... make the deadline say June 1st or something. I would be happy to write you a piece for then, and to show you drafts so that you can decide if the piano accomp. is too difficult and technical issues with cello writing.
