Merciful Master... frikkin crazy, like me...

Hey all, I'm Jennifer Caeyne. I play euphonium, because euphonium is the best ever. I just bought a new one (WHEEEEEEE!!!!!). Anyway, so yeah, I'm happy happy happy, and this is my song. It's weird, it's not like anything else I've composed, and has a superly random ending. But I like it that way! Anyway, tell me what you think. It's not my greatest piece, but not my worst either. I'll probably change a lot over time.

yet another metal fan joining the legion of composers! MUHAHAHA! ;)

i used to be HIGH on BG, kamelot, symphony X, rhapsody (though fabios voice is a pain in the butt) etc. but recently i turned 100% classical :P.

now, i heard your piece a few times and i can say its pretty darn cool! interesting combo... electric guitar, cello, bass, triangle (?), piano euphorium... gets the job done though i must say.

first of all i liked all the melodies and the general idea is very cool! ( especialy liked that part with 16th notes in the euphorium XD). the instrumentation is quite good too, however the harnomy was weird at times ( and not the good kinda weird). like the piano solo part (page 9 i think) had a great melody, but sounded unsatisfactory with the left hand... maybe you should see something about that. also the last measure on page 8, where all the instruments hold that e-g-b... kinda disrupts the melody that followed. i notice the totaly random ending XD. not sure if it fits, but hey, if you like it keep it!

HAHAHA! Yeah, I knew it didn't fit... that last chord... but I was just lazy to be honest, and then i kinda was like cool! lol... i haven't heard of symphony x. I'm gonna have to check that out. =) I went 100% classical for awhile, but then a friend forced me out of it (thank god). I don't think the piano solo has a left hand part. I don't remember, but I will check. I love euphoniums... it's hard to write a piece without one. I got the idea for the cello from Apocalyptica. Also, I think Epica sometimes uses a cello or synth cello in parts. I don't know for sure. Thanks so much for replying! Peace!

I agree with wolf, it was pretty cool except the ending. :wacko: I am also 100% classical, so this really isn't my style music, but I still thought it was pretty neat.
