VERY interesting! How many people actually plays the D trumpet?

A refreshing piece. The orchestration was interesting but I would like to see more of the Harpsichord in the piece. Thus, more Harpsichord solo's pehaps? Can't wait for the next movements!

Thank you very much! well i doubt i will have solos with the continuo. but if you check out my violin concerto, 3rd movement. There the it has a solo :) Im working on the second movement for the trumpet concerto now, it will be up shortly :)

Ummm. Vivaldi much? It sounded almost exactly like a copy albeit with a few quirks that only a trained listener would identity as being "not baroque".

Really, whats the point in composing something that has already been composed?

What the point? well, i can only speak for myself, the italian baroque is the style i like the most and the music i like to compose! copy? well i dont think you understand. how can you know the difference form french to english? first of all the sound, how they talk. Its like this with music to, if you want to talk baroque you have to talk baroque, style simmularites, all music in a style sounds a bit alike, if you hear hip hop? is there any doubt its hip hop? if you hear atonal? is it any doubt its atonal? classical? romantic? and offcourse baroque.

Every thing have been composed before, your idols, the one you are influenced by has done what you want to do? to compose in way is that forbidden?
