danny213
My school talent show is coming up and I have no idea what I will be performing. I'm looking for something thats Grade 4 or 5, and contains a lot of sixteenth notes. Pictures of Sheet music are very acceptable. Thanks

ak_mystro
You can also check out SibeliusMusic.com You'll need the scorch player plug-in (free on sibelius.com). On sibeliusmusic.com you can search for alto sax solo's and listen to them while watching the sheet music. Several of the pieces on there are free, and the ones that aren't usually only cost a few bucks. You can print them instantly. Finale has a similar website, but I'm less familiar with it. You can also check out Saxophone Catalog and also Sheet Music by Mike Mower from ItchyFingers Publications and also Saxtet Publications: Original Saxophone Music Scorched on the Web

Mathieux
transcribe "The Bird" by charlie parker. Easily one of my favorite all time saxophone solos.
James H.
You can play anything on sax, provided it's within the range. Violin music that doesn't stray below Bb or above altissimo F or G, or whatever you feel comfy with is fine too if you can play it. If it's simply a school talent show don't limit yourself to just alto sax music. And do us a favour and find a piece that is pretty and beautiful too. If you can demonstrate that type of musicianship along with lightning speed sixteenths like you want to, you're better off. P.S., Robin, that just made my day. XDDD
Waldstein
There is no shortage of sixteenth notes in Paganini's 16th Caprice. If you think you can handle it then try to find a transcription for alto sax.
