I played this piece last in my second year of high school, it involves a lot of subdivision of eighth notes for a a majority of the piece being in 6/8 time.

Alot of ostenato work and solo work that calls upon voices in the band and the melodies involve rythym work that can stifle people at first, but in the very end this piece is a wonderful and beautiful piece. (Interesting side note: tuba player must be able to play melody in one major spot)
