Media Scores Competitions ?

any idea of this kind of contests ? movie, tv,game,commercials ?

looks like nobody knows something like that...

Generally speaking, no, there's no such thing. Occasionally forums like CGEmpire will host something of the sort, but it's rarer to find a larger-scale competition of this kind. Why? Because there are SOOOO many media composers out there that the industry is simply saturated at this point and there are usually enough opportunities out there that the composers with an entrepreneurial spirit will find actual jobs to practise with and get their name out there rather than having to rely on competitions.

A Google search will likely turn up a competition here or there, but unless you have a really good reason for wanting to enter one, you should be focusing your efforts on finding real work, making contacts, and practising your craft (assuming you want to be a media composer, as this post implies).

I'm pretty sure the industry itself is a good enough competition that nobody cares to sponsor any other ones.
