Finger numbers on piano music.

Featured Replies

I am not sure if its supposed to be here...

anyways, I got this sheet music free and it doesn't have finger #s...I am a beginning pianist so I am not sure what fingers to use and my fingers tangle up.

Its Jeux Interdits..

got free from Virtual Sheet music.

any help please :(

You can write it in Finale and send me a pdf of it with #s, mus file of it with numbers (I have finale 2009)......or write it out "Measure 1 TC: 521 521 521" etc. ;)

Edit:

you can also print this out, write it by hand and scan it...then attach it here :)

Why don't you go invest in a good edition of the work? They have fingerings AND the right phrase markings and articulations. Get properly marked music, not naked crap. And by the way... why don't you figure this out yourself? It's not exactly difficult to finger. Go read some essays on proper fingering - I've found a few on the net in the past. No, don't ask, I can't remember where.

I tend to just use my fists whenever I'm unsure.

That would work!

...if this was Ives.
