Wow, I actually liked this quite a bit. Unfortunately, I can't really comment well in depth, but I'll give you a brief overview of my impressions.

While it's clearly not written in a baroque style, the counterpoint in this piece had an almost baroque-ish feel. I really like a lot of your harmonies - they really worked in context, as did your use of that one repeated motif.

By the way, I would remove all those extra stems. They just make it look messy.

Overall, very nice piece.

Thanks QM for the generous comment. I shall try too look at those messy stems. So far I still do not have the idea as to how I will be able to clarify the rhythmic grouping without resulting to those extra stems.

Well, most performers will be able to read the rhythmic groupings pretty clearly without the extra stems. I don't think there's any need for clarification unless your performer has some trouble playing the rhythms correctly or asks for it.

Anyway, no problem. Alert me if you have any more of your pieces up!

Qmwne has a really good point although overall it doesn't bother me so much but the 1st beat of the left hand in bar 44 is bothering me a lot.

The piece seems to be very well theoretically written (harmonies and such) but it just doesn't seem to go very far in my open and theres just nothing really to latch on to musically, memorizing this would likely be impossible

Thank you for the extending your expertise towards this project. This is not to make excuses about my faults, rather to explain why I needed help very badly. Although the one who commissioned me to write this piece knows that I am actually a choral musician, she want me to compose for her a piece on the piano so that she could help me generate some additional amount for the scholarship project that I have started some years back.

This is my first time to compose for instruments and it is actually apparent that it has so many loose ends. Right now, I am reworking the piece according to what has been suggested previously. And by the way, what is it that bothers you regarding the first beat of the L.H in bar 44? Your experience on this will actually lessen my experimentation as to what works and what does not.

Thematically, I like your usage of material. You build a lot from that motif. There's a lot of transcription errors throughout the score that i'm sure you'll want to tidy up (for instance, the already mentioned noteheads - nothing too serious though.) Structure wise, I really though the B section should've been longer. Your transitional passages worked to and from but the brevity of the section itself left me feeling jaded (?). It appears some of the problem with the rhythmic passages could be fixed by altering the time signature's accordingly (mm. 178 -179). All in all, its a good piece with a very good usage of thematic develpment.
