February 16, 200917 yr Hi Everyone :), I am Bjarke and 19 years old. I have bin playing alot of rock music in groups, but Im am a big fan of many genres And my heart lies with Symphonic classic music, my head is filld with melodies, witch comes out just fine, but it does not sound professionel because of my little knolage in theory and eksperiens in software, and other unknown reasons proppelply, so thats why i am here! My education and goal is to become a audio designer in future. This is acctuly the only digital composetion ive ever made. and ive made it with Reason Propellerheads. ReverbNation Player
February 17, 200917 yr I think it has roots in the non-classical area, but has a classical feel in terms of the orchestration. It is very easy listening, and I can see it being used as a over for a trailer or a documentary. I wasn't keen on the ending (slight dissonance, possibly not within the character of the piece), and the last chord was a litte unexpected.
February 20, 200917 yr Hi Bjarke welcome to YC. You can definitely hear your "rock" influence. It definitely has a modern "Pop" feel to it. to be honest it seems like this should be a vocal song not so much as a stand alone piece. I don't really know why but that is the impression I get when I listen to it. Really pretty and nice melody and chords though. This stuff is right up my ally.
February 22, 200917 yr Very nice piece. This reminds me of my earlier stuff so I can totally see what you were doing with this, and I see it as standing alone very well without vocals. Of course we all could do with a bit more experience in theory and with the tools of the trade, but the point is you are making an effort to get there. :)
