How to Continue...

Man,,, not only am i not too sire on how this really sounds to other people, but now i have no clue what to do with it. Can someone give me some suggestions, please.

There's some nice ideas, but a few issues with how they are executed.

The oboe cannot play lower than the Bb below middle C, however at one point I see it goes as far as the C and octave below middle C! Also, unless you intend to have three oboeists playing the piece the chords in the oboe part are probably not such a good idea. Another thing is unless the pianist has Rachmaninov sized hands some of the stretches for the pianist could be a bit too far. Finally, i'm not a violinist so i cannot say this for positive, but I think the triple stopping in the violin at the end would be extremely difficult if not impossible.

I really liked the piano writing though - perhaps as far as continuing with it goes you could iron out some of the issues with the other parts and develop the ideas expressed in the piano?

Hello!

I had some free time and I took the liberty to correct the notation of the piece (I hope you don't mind). I guess you already know that the oboe and the french horn are not polyphonic instruments and that the oboe cannot go below Bb so I treated your composition as if it were written for three oboe players (one of them coupling to cor anglais) and two french horns. I also added optional phrasing...

The triple stopping in the violin part on the last two measures you have completed is impossible. The last measure you have them playing 3 notes on the G string! And the second to last measure you have them playing two notes on the D string with 1 note on the G string... impossible.
