A paino duet

Featured Replies

1. Techniques used

All I did was play some random thing on the paino and formed it into a song.

2. How long it took to compose the piece

I don't know. I've always had this tune or another in my head. Tell me if I just heard parts of it somewhere and writen it in my piece. I've had people reconize parts of previous ones when I have never played it outside my home. I have a hard time telling the difference of a tune I pick up somewhere or one I thought of myself. Too many different songs run though my head.

3. Structure of your piece

Its a duet.

4. Obstacles when composing

Playing all four hands by my self

5. Summary of overall piece

Hey, awesome piece, very free flowing. Congrats!

I have to be honest. It's a lot better than I expected to hear. You create something rather interesting. I think you depended on the consant rythem a little bit too much though. Some phrases like the one around 1:00 seemed out of place a something more flowish would be better. Anyway, for a beginner not to bad.

interesting and enjoyable piece! the harmonic progressions are quite effective. interesting structure!
