As I've mentioned in previous threads, I've written quite a few lyrics and poems. Mostly I've written them solely for pop songs with a few poems interspersed mainly just for my own edification. I hadn't really concentrated on writing a lyric for a choral piece before. I wrote the lyric to Night Rain while bored one day at work and then composed the piece in a few hours. That was an interesting idea and I started to play around with writing my own lyric again, this time with the lyric being a bit longer. This is the result.

have you got a sib file of this? I like what you have done. im not sure about the clashy seconds early in the piece

No I don't it was composed on finale...you should be able to open the midi in Sibelius though...
