Clarineta - A Unique Style

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, I have decided to upload another work of mine. This one is also in the synch style, so don't judge it by comparing it to pop art music, or other styles. You either like or don't like this style. So tell me what you think of it.

Due to restrictions on the Master Paper Copy, I will not be releasing this work in Score Format. Once I have the Master Copy back, I will release a PDF file version of the score.

This is not to be edited or redistributed incorrectly. This is Copyrighted and is NOT released under the GNU/GPL Licence. All Rights Reserved.

Enjoy!

What do you mean? I'm not sure what you mean by saying you like my "named"

she said she liked your name.

how hard was that to understand?

anyway, the music.. same as your other piece: random, disjointed, uninteresting.

I hate to say it, but I agree.

I realise you are 13 (from your signature), but to quote that "13 and composing symphonies" in your signature doesn't mean much to be honest. I wrote stuff when I was 8/9 and looking back, it was a load of...

To be honest, this:

so don't judge it by comparing it to pop art music, or other styles.

Just sounds like you're trying to keep anyone from judging your piece unfairly, so you can just say "you just don't like the style" if someone doesn't like it.

The piece, overall didn't make much sense. As Qc said, it's somewhat random and not very pleasant. I don't really hear much melody, and certainly no development. It's like a big freeform improvisation, except instead of the soloist trying to make it make sense, he just kept playing random notes, completely ignoring any sort of key, order or musicality. That may sound sort of harsh, but I am really not sure what the goal of this piece is (and I don't really know what the "Synch" style of music means). It was excessively long, boring, and sounds like just random input in a computer program.

Edit: And that ending...not really sure what was going on there.
