Okay, I have a piece here but writing lyrics has never been my strong point. anyone interested in writing lyrics? I wasn't sure if I should post this in here or the lyrics forum. I can change the rhythms to accommodate, but within reason.

I like the changes you made. And you set the lyrics exactly how I thought they should be. Very nice. If you ever have it recorded by a choir, I'd love to hear. This was fun. Wash, Rinse, Repeat?

Yes, a lot of fun. If I had more I would do this again. Hmm, maybe I could try for something a little more comical for the next one.

I love the offset lyrics in measures 20-26, it should create a very nice effect when this gets performed...which I too would love to hear. Do what you can man! Find a good choir and get this sung! :)

Thanks, pianoman. I actually might have this performed by my old high schools chamber group. I still have to talk to the director but she has always been open to anything I write. It could be on the winter concert. If not, it will be on the alumni concert in the spring, along with Wings.

Yeah, that would be great. I've been trying to get my old high school choir director to do one of my pieces for years and he hardly ever even responds to me :iffy: so its good that you have yours so easily accesible. Good luck with everything!

Will be attending a practice soon to see how Varsity chorus is handling the music, soon. Concert will be in early December so I think I can post a live recording by January at the latest.
