Film music compositions - symphonic orchestra

Hello everybody,

my name is Petr Mach�ně ( 18 from the Czech Republic ) and this is my first post here. I am verry happy for forum like this.

I started with piano and compositing 3 years ago. My dream is to compositing music for movies and theaters. I love John Williams.

There are my first compositions in my life :D hope u will listen to them and say your opinion.

The first one is called " We must hurry Santa! " it�s music for some winter story.. some magical christmas story.

I could definitely imagine your compositions being used in films.

(Is this the EastWest Symphonic Orchestra that you used? Every time I hear music using it, the software sounds more and more awesome!)

Just listened to "Coming Storm" and i did like it. I did like the build up, and it was well executed, however, i didn't feel the impact as much towards the climax. I felt it lacked some percussive "oomph",

thought about putting some sort of drums in?

In next mounths i will have chance to complete new composition for ral orchestra and couse of won competition in Czech i have chance to record it for no money :D but only one of new things.. Next i will have pay for :( it

Yeah, the "Incidental Section" is for Soundtracks. ;)

I listened to a couple, I got the Christmas vibe from the Santa one, but I didn't get the "We must hurry" for the majority of the piece. In the end I was feeling it, but it seemed a little too delayed... if that was what you were going for.

(PS. I think by "thing" you mean "think". :thumbsup:)

Well done Petr! You're definitely showing some talent and potential with these. By the way you really should post these in the incidental section where people might be able to give you more focused feedback.
