Musical style confrontation scene

Featured Replies

Hey, this is a midi version of a piece I want to put in my musical that I'm writing. I'm not sure whether I should put it in or not. The piece contains a musical dialogue between a tenor and countertenor. Eventually the confrontation is resolved with the countertenor's reluctant acceptance of the tenor's decision at the end of the piece - I can attach lyrics if anyone wants.

Yes lyrics and a score would be...would be just tops.

Sounds like the water harp thing from Animusic. And far far too calm for a "confrontation" but I'd have to see the lyrics to be sure.

Thanks for your comment. It isn't a dramatic, physical confrontation, more an emotional confrontation. It's still incomplete but tell me what you think :).

I really enjoyed that. I like how you establish the scene, and each character sort of introduces their side of the conflict, and then eventually they begin to sing together. It's really well put together, and the lyrics are all naturally where they belong, not forced. Great work.
