First kinda finished FL project

Featured Replies

Yeah so.. As you may know I've recently converted to FL Studio 7. That's the first thing I've done with it that isn't just a few notes and effects, although there are still things I would change. But I won't, I had my fun, learned a couple of new things and now it's time to move on.

Don't pay attention to the title, it is meaningless in every way.

kool, sounds kool, good job

in your other thread:

the real thing will be to see if you really increase the quality in few time....

you are doing it.

I still find some details, like the some tiny TS404 and the tom, but you are doing it.

hey there's two songs in one or what ? ... the 2nd seems to start with the "Plucked" element... well this 2nd part is not better that the 1st, but this is a matter of development not FL usage.

Yep SYS that's just what it is. I don't think I managed to make it as I wanted, but you know, It sounded good anyway to me.

Thanks guys. I'll definitely use the program more in my next one, I already know a few things I didn't think of doing before.

I'm sure this will open more your mind because I could say that you were "restricted" in the "Guitar Pro" don't you think ? ....

I can send you the .flp of one of my tracks in Sway ... after all those tracks are already published somehow so you can not use them as yours (if you try to be a hotshot hahahahahaha :D (I own the copyright)

If you think can help you, just tell me,

if you don't want to be "influenced" by me, that's understandable ....

I like this, but I think the last piece had more potential even if you were noodling around. In this piece I'd work on the drum sound, the snare in particular -- snares are difficult to get EQd right but it makes or breaks a mix. My advise, for whatever its worth, is to not just do stuff and move on. When you are creating make it as good as you can get it before moving on. Sure, work on several pieces at once if you need to, but you have really good ideas that just need to be explored more, carved, set into place. You have really good intuition and I think that will take you a long way. Lastly, I've noticed a lot of reliance on the phrygian mode. That's cool, I love it too, just a note of caution that you don't start relying on it too much. The whole point is to keep stretching. I dig listening to your stuff, though.
