Better! I actually REALLY enjoyed this. It's simple, it's elegant. It's not pompous or intrusive... just an introspective look on the keyboard through dissonance and consonance. good job! I will print this out and play this at my keyboard.

I think I'm going to change it later today. There are a few parts in the Left Hand where it get's... boring. I can imporve on that. Post an update later...

This was very nice and very relaxing, and you changed the choir pattern just enough to keep it from sounding predictable.

I think you could provide a little more variation in the left hand to create more rhythmic interest. I love the 25 - 30 section, and I felt that it was BEGGING to be repeated after measure 54 as a transition into the calmer outro.

I really think you should expand your ranges. Try this in measure 1, for example:

double the first bass note down an octave

raise the last three eighth notes by an octave

bring the melody note up 2 octaves, and maybe double that...

the change in sonorities will be huge, and make the piece much more fun to listen to.

this is of course, just my opinion. But this an instrument like the piano, with such a huge range, there are many things you can try to introduce new colors...

I agree, expanding the range will give the piece a little more depth, while keeping the etude-like character, which I like.

Some ideas:

Lowering the left hand an octave in bar 19.

Right hand up an octave in bar 25

Left hand octave up in bar 35

...

Actually, you could almost move anything up or down an octave, depending on your personal taste, just to give the piece a bit more contrast. I think if you do this, it will be a absolutely lovely little piano piece.

Well... in some sections anyway. The entire piece as it is, is still very tasteful. Tasteful = good. yay!
