here's my first post in a while- haven't had the energy...

for strings, piano, harp, and percussion.

it's the first of 3 movements...

hope you like it, I know it's kind of long but I think it works at that length...

note: a couple of the suspended cymbal rolls sound like chainsaws, for some reason. I will fix this!

If someone goes out of their way to listen to someone's music and then spends the extra time to actually write some comments about that music, then you would think that the composer who wrote that music would be thankful enough to try to return the favor in some little way.

You go out of your way to post in other member's threads, and yet it is rare when any of those members seek out your music in return. That is the major thing about this site that always gets me. Maybe it is an age thing. Maybe some of the younger members here feel like it is their right for their music to be heard and commented on and they are just too self-centered to do anything else.

This piece here is just great!!!

It is original and put together well. The piece flows along nicely and has some fantastic moments in it.

I have a friend on another site that does works similar to this with the piano often used as percussion like you have done in this one.

It is not that long. In fact I listened thru twice.

Very well done.
