April 23, 200620 yr Not much to say, really. It's just an impressionistic little romp I created recently.
April 23, 200620 yr I'm not sure it screams water to me. It doesn't flow quite like water in my mind. To me it seems more like the descriptions I've heard of the atmosphere before a tornado (I know, it's kinda random).
April 26, 200620 yr ;) so beautiful!!! appealing mood Letehn! for me it sounded very green indeed :D this piece is so relaxing, like as a large green field of grasses gently ondulating under a soft wind and bathed by a wintery sun, with woods scattered around and snowy mountains at distance. the section in pianissimo is quite lovely resembling the distant sounds of bubbling creeks cascading hidden amidst shadowy woods. very enjoyable piece!
April 27, 200620 yr That's a really nice piece. It does tend to inspire visions of natural beauty in the mind's eye, doesn't it? I usually don't see things like that when I listen to music, but I did with this. No criticisms...just enjoyment! :D
April 27, 200620 yr I found it a pleasant enough piece, though I've never been a huge fan of the impressionist style. Your tones convey the mood and scene very well, though, so kudos. What's up with the chords/bass just disappearing around 45-47 seconds? Honestly your first theme didn't really grab me and move me, but at around 1:16, when you introduce that brief interlude... I thought that part was gorgeous. Then back to the first theme...
December 6, 200619 yr I know how much you hate people reviving your old threads but this time, I couldn't help it. :D I would like to request an mp3 of this one :P Either that or a .MUS file... On a side note, half my school's drama dept. heard this piece the other day and most of them rather enjoyed it (paticularly a girl named Rithu, who also would like an mp3...), even after spending the previous 20 minutes insulting all the "classical crap" on my computer (they played it over the auditorium's main speaker system)... :D
December 6, 200619 yr I'll make an exception this time. :P And sure, i'll make an mp3. :( On a side note, half my school's drama dept. heard this piece the other day and most of them rather enjoyed it (paticularly a girl named Rithu, who also would like an mp3...), even after spending the previous 20 minutes insulting all the "classical crap" on my computer (they played it over the auditorium's main speaker system)... :D You just made my day.
