beautifulnoise Posted October 14, 2009 Share Posted October 14, 2009 hi everyone, up here in MN, we've just had our first snowfall of the year. anyway, since christmas is around the corner, i've decided to start a christmas competition (bet you didn't see that one coming :w00t:, jk!) rules: write an ORIGINAL piece capturing the holiday spirit. NO ARRANGMENTS OF TRADITIONAL SONGS PLEASE! the song/composition must be at least 5 minutes long. your submission must have at least one woodwind, one brass, one strings intrument, one keyboard, one plucked intrument, and one percussion instrument required (you can have more instruments than this, but no less.) deadline - december 18th. i will need three judges, first come first serve. the judges will be expected to give the score (x/100) for each piece by the 23rd of december. i will announce the winner on christmas eve after finding the average of the scores. contestants: beautifulnoise impresario musicfiend jared michael a. garman norby judges tokkemon happy composing!
