Sibelius separating voices

I am wondering whether Sibelius has the capability of taking 4 part harmony condensed into one track, and giving it a shot at splitting the voices. Anyone know?

I’m assuming that when u say "track" you mean staff. Sibelius gives you the ability of using 4 independent voices on a staff and you can copy voices from one staff to another and split them up however you want into multiple staves. There are even plugins that allow you to condense a bunch of staves into one or vice versa. Hope this helps.

Track meaning it is MIDI data and therefore all 1 voice on one staff. I am wondering if Sibelius can take a staff with 4 parts that arent separated into voices.

for sibelius, a staff is a midi track, now if you mean an imported midi file into Sibelius, there is an option "keep one staff per track"

But I don't understand exaclty what you mean with the voices ...

Sibelius 6 can also condense and expand staves. So you can take, for example, chords written in a piano part and expand them into 4 trombones, or whatever. I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but it has some very powerful arranging abilities.
