The storm

Featured Replies

Hello,

I was really angry, so i composed this piece to sort of reflect the anger i felt.

Hopefully, it will give the impression that it is not a cheerful piece, rather like a massive storm instead.

I've only finished the introduction and I'm working on the next section, any feedback, good/bad/ugly is welcome :)

If anyone can help me think of a good name for the piece, please suggest one.

It's not actually an overture really, I just called it that and I cba with changing it right now haha.

EDIT: right i thought of a really generic one. "the storm" :P

Thanks!

arghhh I still havent figured out how to create an mp3 file from it.

  • 2 weeks later...

If you have the full version of Sibelius, then the first thing you need to do is to make a wav file of your piece. Then go to a search engine and type in convert wav to mp3. There are many free converters out there and they will convert you wav file to a mp3. Then post your mp3 in a site like Boxnet (free) and insert a link in your post to it. I use Audacity (free) to convert my wavs to mp3s, but you have to install the Lame Encoder (also free) with it, to be able to convert to MP3.

If you have problems, PM me and I will see if I can help.
