"Winter Wind" for Violoncello and Piano

So here is another cello piece I'd like to share:

Winter Wind

I'm planning to play the piece with a friend of mine who's quite a good cellist. Maybe we'll make a record, and I can post that instead of this (vst made) file.

This is a really great piece of music, olibrehm. It's title captures it PERFECTLY. Good work!

I'm not so enthusiastic about programmatic titles but this piece is well-written for both instruments. The only thing I could suggest would be to use some other sounds/articulations for the cello. Even some grace notes here and there might go a long way. Well done or medium rare; however you like it.

About the title: It just sort of came to me after I've written the piece. I mean, a piece must have some title, doesn't it... And as my pieces are mostly very lose in form, I'd just have to call all of them "fantasia" or something like that which would be boring as well ;-)
