How to write a Clementi Piano Sonata

Hi guys I'm having trouble writing my own piano sonata in the style of Clementi. Do you have any tips on how I can start this successfully?

Simply put: not really. This is mostly because we encourage writing in one's own style rather than mere pastiche. Unless you aim is to understand and theorise Clementi's compositional methods, I suggest you put your efforts towards cultivating more personal music.
