January 2, 201016 yr Nice playful piece. I really like the orchestration here. I didn't exactly see the Danny Elfman influence aside from the Clockwork Orange-esque syncopations.
January 2, 201016 yr nice theme. Do you plan on other movements, or is this a stand alone work? If the latter is the case, I think it could benefit from a contrasting theme. Do you know the clock part in Prokofiev's Cinderella?
January 12, 201016 yr Author I'm glad you all enjoyed it. I do have plans for a second movement Jrcreamer, which i will try contrast with the current theme (slower tempo, more dramatic.) And yes i am familiar with Prokofiev's work and am a BIG fan. Hes a great source of inspiration! Thanks again for listening and ill make sure to keep you posted on any developments.
