Bridal Procession no. 2

Featured Replies

2nd of three processionals. This one took well over 16 hours to compose. This one is a lot more expansive compared to the first. I also have a few more passages of development. Overall form is Ternary. One of my favorite passages - and I hope it works as well as it sounds to me - starts at measure 7. The cello imitates the flute in a very interesting manner. :)

Bridal Procession no. 2

this is really sweet. Had an pastorale feel feel (not only in mood, but the F major is a classic). I love the simple but effective texture. But I think there could be a bit more development of the A theme when it returns. But you know this is my personal preference ;)

HAHA! Yes, and I anticipated it. The B section of this movement, as a matter of fact... is the development of the A theme! Now, to see if you can tell where it's at. :D

This is very nice, and I think it works much better than the first one (I haven't listened to the 3rd one yet, but I will soon), because it is still light, but there is definitely more substance. This is background music that also has personality when you focus on it :)

Again, this is sweet and eloquent just as you wanted. I do like the first procession over this one though. But I see that this is your personal preference. What procession was chosen for the wedding?

They haven't chosen just yet. He just proposed to her Friday evening - so she doesn't exactly know these exsist yet :D
