    Very cool.

    I'm a fan of Gershwin (and a bit of Messiaen); you use their ideas so well in this piece.

    Here's how I broke it down:

    0:36 is totally from Gershwin's Prelude 1 right?

    0:58 is awesome, it feels like some offbeat stride or something crazy cool like that.

    1:18 nice colour

    1:26 sounds really Gershwiny, like Rhapsody in Blue.

    1:37 very fun transition

    1:43 nice use of stride

    All that being said, Katrina, the ending does not do it for me after all those moments of wow. It sounds like you need only 2 hands playing the cadence and the other two 2 hands could do some flashy cadenza overtop landing on the tonic.
