Hymn (For the Apocalypse)

Howdy! I'm a senior in high school, and as my senior project I'm composing and recording a rock opera/musical. The album will tell the story for four survivors of the Zombie Apocalypse, and will be called "Biohazard!" This is the introductory track, and is extremely short and simple. I composed it to sound like an African American spiritual- melodically and harmonically not very complex, but soulful nonetheless. The lyrics are comprised of hms and oohs and ahs.I'm going to record it sometime in the coming few days, just layering my voice for each part, so check back if you're interested.

I like the idea, although, why so many sudden and unexpected stops? I think it would be better without the pauses. I love the content though. Good mixture or hms, oohs, and ahs. I'm a student writer as well!
