No. 7 of my Album "Sway". Latin feeling within an elec-pop piece, Latin Jazz melody with “Honky-tonk“ piano, vibraphone segments, Rhodes (elec-piano), vocoder and some latin percussions. The “web” word in the title has nothing to do with the Internet, it has a different meaning I won’t mention here. Entirely created on FL Studio.

(I posted the entire Album here on 22Jun2009 but each time members see a thread with many tracks they don't comment and sometimes don't even listen, so instead of bringing back the old thread to the new YC, I'll upload the tracks by separate, and give you time to listen and comment.)

I will delete the old thread as soon as all track are uploaded into the Network.

Very catchy. Sorry, but I don't have too much to say about this piece. It's a nice dance work and the production quality seems good, but it went on a little long for my tastes and the tambourine got on my nerves a little because its timbre is so distinctly different from the other instruments.

Thanks for listening,

The lenght ... I recall it was about 3 min, but I repeat some segments to make it longer, I think feel is incomplete when it hardly reach the 3 minutes. The tambourine ... well the entire beat is not what we could call "excellent" but remember this album is for "common people" and many pieces like these have that sort of non-complex beats.

Also that happens when you keep using over and over the same stuff to create the beats, that's why I have recently got many new VSTs and samples, I plan to make a new album and this time with voice using the Vocaloid with very complex effects, that's why I need the lyrics ....

Oh man, I loved the chord progression on 0.32 with the Rhodes, has that Acid jazz feel but on top of a house beat. Vocoded sections are good too, but could have been longer, or more frequent. The breakdown is a great relief! If only a bit longer though. Because the harshness of the overall might require a longer breakdown, I don't know. I'm not a house music guru, and you seem to know a lot about it then me. I wonder how is your other stuff, will discover them in time..

Thanks for coming here, ... sure I also would like more Vocoder but it wasn't easy, I made the voice with the Speech thing of FL, but that doesn't understand tempo changes, so I had to created 2, one faster than the other, the the fast one says "This is your La..." and the slow one says "..tin Web" so it may sound "This is your La..." in 8ths and "...tin-Web" in 4ths ....

My "other stuff" ? here what I've posted....

I recommend you this one in Orchestral or this one (if you want to spend 50Min listening) and this one in Electronic.

(Chiefs haven't replay, be patient ....)
