everything is perfect, except for the score, it's not so clean

Oh man, do I hate finale songwriter =P

It would be nice if you cleaned up the score, but I can understand the difficulty :) (I use 2007 finale...ugh).

I'll print out the piece and try it out later...and I'll give some feedback. Looks interesting.

This is a great calm jazz background. The score is full-out atrocious, but that's really easy to correct. Versions of a lower grade than Finale itself tend to be horrendously bad. The music is great, though. Is it you playing?

It has a very nice, calm Jazz feel to it - I quite enjoyed it.

I agree that the score needs a bit of cleaning, however that should only take a few minutes ;)

--This piece is very cold, and detached sounding (accomplished by the sparseness, and the "abnormal" scale you use), and is very fitting for a sort of scenic stroll down a cold, October morning.

--The unique chords used throughout create a feeling of "color" that is also very nicely reminiscent of the various colors one sees in October.

--Very cool use of dissonance at measure 64-74! It provides a memorable climax for the piece, which the piece needed to really etch itself into a listener's mind.

All-in-all, fantastic! (Pity about the crazy score though :blink:) Thanks for sharing with us :cool:

are you thinking of updating the scoring?

As a musical layman, I can honestly say I very much enjoyed this piece. The bass chords remind me a bit of Erik Satie's Gymnopedies, and here they give a similarly relaxed yet quirky feel. I won't try to judge it musically (nor do I have any idea how to), but I just wanted to add my 0.02$.
