Another beautiful work and recording! How I love portamento... It would be nice to see some of your scores, but I understand if you're reluctant to post them.

This is great! I'm adding this to my favorites. I love the way you use the deep, dark tone of the cello, in contrast to its piercing high range. Very good.

His scores are in his website. Find a post where he posts his video acc page on youtube, and it shows his website on there.

Whoops. Right, YouTube.

I can appreciate what you're trying to do here - take a subject and then write a set of developing variations on it so that elements of the material are gradually changed through the work, in contrasting movements. Your writing for the instrument is very idiomatic and although obviously an advanced piece it isn't actually that difficult technically. In particular good use of the resonating power of the lower strings and changes of colour through sliding. The col legno is also an interesting device to signal the end of one movement and the start of another. One thing I would think about though is the abundance of pauses and long notes. It rather stops the music from gaining momentum if it keeps 'stopping', which is a little frustrating for example in the third movement where the music is faster. It also has the effect of making every movement sound like it is at the same speed, which reduces the contrast and developing effect.
