Drama sequence underscore

Featured Replies

Listen here!

I made this dramatic score which is a guitar loop with synths in background making the dramatic feel, and it builds up to a cliffhanger (the hitpoint where it all ends). the guitar is sampled in and the synths are made in fruityloops. Please..give me some comments.... is it working like I expected, or what do you think ?

If you want people to take the time to review your works from now on, you should provide some explanation of them:

Rules for posting

You should also try to contribute to the community by reviewing other composers' work instead of just posting your own the whole time. Including some scores as well as a recording would be nice too.

I'm concerned about my english but I'll give it a try

It's good, but I'm not really feeling the building up that you mentioned. I don't really feel the tension building at all, with it feeling more like a constant loop with some mild variation rather than a build up to a climax or cliffhanger.

I guess 'repetitive' would be the most appropriate word. Perhaps you could try shifting it up a key or something midway through, and generally just giving it more variation from section to section. Building up doesn't just involve adding more layers every so often, but also requires variation.
