May 9, 201016 yr Haha this song will brighten ANYONES day! What a happy tune, so upbeat and happy, I love it Also around 1:10 nice changes between major and minor sounds! It sounds really good there. Not much to change here, only thing I recommend is that the strings sound a bit synthy. If there's anyway to make them sound more realistic that'd help this piece get just that tiny bit more better. Aside from that minor thing, this is a great song! Made me smile haha Great job.
May 15, 201016 yr Cool piece!! It's certainly professional quality, and I wouldn't see this out of place in a film. I love those harp glissando's in particular :) I think the only real critisim is the strings at 0:47 sound a little on hte digital side. It also sounded like the patch was delayed a little - am I right?? very nice work overall - hope to see more from you.
May 15, 201016 yr hi jeanpual, this is a beru good composition, everything flows great, i think its mostly perfect, just in a few places the mock-up isn't that working-check out those vibrating solo violins, i think they're abit too much vibrating in context to the theme, and the double harp entrance somewhere around 1 min. but this shows exemplary skills! well done!
June 22, 201016 yr Well its got some nice things going for it. You might want to put more emphasis on the Brass becase its a Fanfare. you also might want to put more efects, rips and stuff within the low brass and cellos they might want to get a little board.
September 16, 201016 yr Author Wow..thank you all for your kind comments and excelletn suggestions. I will take all of your remarks into consideratin and hope to post a revised version again. Yes, the strings patch is actually very natural fromEWQl, but I over-tweaked with an EQ that it sounds a bit synthy. You are absolutely correct. I should keep the natural warmth that it already had. Abd_Zibdeh, I am from Lebanon, currently living in Dubai. i love music, studied piano for 6 years when I was a young kid. Started composing about 1 year ago. Thats one of my early compositions. Stephanpalen, I appreciate your observations a lot. It makes perect sense to emphsise teh brass. I should use a more brighter french horn section to give it a Fanfare sound..especially the counterpoitn part toward the end of the main section. I like that idea. thank you all Jean Paul
March 28, 201115 yr My wife was sitting in the room when I was listening and she said that is sounds like Christmas. So good job. I like the feel of it. You can imagine a snowy back drop and the holiday bustle going on. The light, carefree sound is perfect. I also like the simplicity of the melody and the play between strings and woodwinds. I do have to agree with stefanpalen, where's the brass?
