June 2, 200619 yr Hey guys and gals, OK so I'm new to these forums, but they look great. Already found much interesting reading (while I'm supposed to be working... :( ) Anyway, so here's the deal - I'm 20, I've been playing the piano now for 14 years, and writing music for around 8. So far I have only written instrumental sequenced music, but recently a good friend of mine had written some lyrics. She asked me to try to put some music to them, which I did and found it much fun, and the end result was pretty good (my own opinion, granted...) Unfortunately while I was given talent with my hands, I must have been on a smoke break when God was giving out singing voices and the ability to write lyrics. So the bottom line is this - I'm hoping someone on this very worldly wide web might like to have a crack at a long distance project. Male/Female, any age or experience is fine by me, I'm not expecting to write a number 1 any time soon. I just want to work with someone who is good with lyrics and has a good voice, bat some ideas around, record a couple of tracks via the miricles of technology and strike a friendship at the same time hopefully. So any takers, please reply and/or PM/email me/chat with me on MSN Messenger/send a carrier pidgeon or something! P.S. June 4, 200619 yr Heh. I can write lyrics and music, mix tracks, and can sing (I don't know how well, I'm used to a chorus, not solo). But if you still want collab, perhaps I can look at what your words and melodies and such.
