I love your beginning! The open chords are quite lovely! I'm not quite sure if you need to change up any of your chords, to be honest. Vocals would DEFINATELY add more power. I think this is an epic piece! Great job!

It seems like with such an epic sound, a longer, more epically sized piece would follow.

Yeah I agree, which is why I said I'd add more later. I'm gunna add some epic vocal parts to it and maybe more instrument in a new section.

Nice piece here, especially the chords progressions nearing the end! I have one complaint however - why did you switch to 6/4 if you were just going to tie notes over the bar. 4/4 would work without any tying, and it would remove the need for the change to 2/4.

I agree with impresario about the 6/4, i find it unnecessary, I think 4/4 would work just as fine and It would be much less confusing to the players!

I think some of the sectional lines like the horn in the beginning, trumpet in the middle and the chimes would be hard to hear with all the instruments playing! So I would double them, or even add more instruments to this piece! I really liked this, keep up the good work!

Yeah you guys are right about the 6/4, I guess I just did that because it'd be easier for the chime player since I'm a percussionist and all. And because I haven't really written it to be played (hence the fact that I didn't double parts), but I should probably start writing it that way haha. Thanks for the compliments though.

I like this piece, especially once it opens up into that epic section. You could do more with the beginning though. Tighten it up (so to speak), vary the textures. Instead of whole notes, why not try quarter-half-quarter? The piece as it is doesn't communicate very much until the big section, but the big section is really, really nice. Maybe try some more movement in the beginning? It seems like you're going for a very serene opening, but there's a fine line between serene and static. Static isn't a bad thing, but in the context of the piece it feels undeveloped. The big section is gorgeous and simple, see if you can find some ways to implement that into the opening. Good work! This piece has potential
