July 12, 201016 yr This is a piano sketch of a piece I'm about to orchestrate for concert band. The piece sounds really cool on just piano, so I thought I would upload it here since the sketch is complete. The piece signifies the different phases of the moon, hence the name "Luna". Anything to work on for the concert band version would be much appreciated!Ben Luna
July 12, 201016 yr Wow, very nice work. I think a little bit more temporal stalling and suspense would really make this piece pop. I hope to hear the full orchestration once finished. Thanks for sharing!

July 14, 201016 yr I think this would be phenomenal for concert band - as it is, it's pretty repetitive, but with a band, you have control over dynamics and orchestration that you don't with a piano. I'm curious to know what it will sound like when finished.
