October 6, 200817 yr No, it's completely learnable at ANY age. The only thing that would cause you to take longer would be the fact that you don't have/take enough time to do it. If you decide to take the supercourse, make the time to do it. I developed perfect pitch in 2 months about 8 months ago, I haven't re-done the supercourse since then, and my perfect pitch is just as good as ever. Maybe it's jus me but I still don't see how it would be a hindrance to ANYONE.

Just as you can teach an isolated person to understand speech you can't teach them to understand it on a level a five year old would, so all I am suggesting is that maybe you don't have perfect pitch but something that is good enough. Besides personal stories meaning little to me.
October 6, 200817 yr I apparently developed perfect pitch, and it has been a terrible experience. It just happened, but suddenly I have to learn to hear things all over again. I can't remember songs unless I remember exactly what note they start on. It's very discouraging.
February 13, 201412 yr I have this weird way to remember pitches. I have these "standard" pieces of music practically imprinted into my head (like Vivaldi's Spring.) To think of what G sharp sounds like for example, I would go through Spring until I reach G sharp. It works pretty well until I start transposing in my mind...
