Awwww thank you! I'm trying to get scores for each of my songs, but I can't get them here fast enough lol. And I was afraid of adding too much cymbal, cuz that wud make the piece sound too powerful, no?

This piece is just delightfully sad. Perhaps a bit sentimental, but I love it anyway. Sometimes the best pieces of music are the ones that wear their hearts on their sleeves.

Always the same scheme I - V - VI - IV - I... It's such a cliché! How about coming up with something new and shocking?

treCorde, I get the feeling that the purpose of this piece is not to shock, but to soothe.

What's this music for?

I ask because it has the feel of a (yes) cliche'd rock ballade, yet the instrumentation suggests that it's a piece for orchestra. In which case, I think you overused the cymbal rolls far, far too much. It sounds like it needs a drum set because of the strong suggestion of it being a ballade, so you could do other things to build and release in the percussion than simply adding another roll. If that's not the case, then you need to be more appropriate with your percussion parts.

It's got some good sounds, though. The scoring and voicing choices you made definitely got the "Romantic" feel you were looking for. Very simple.

This music was intended to pull at the heartstrings a bit. What I was afraid of was exactly that; adding too much percussion. I will definitely change that. But thanks for the feedback! However, I'm sorry everyone thinks it's a cliche'd chord progression; it's the only piece I've ever made with that scheme, except maybe some extraneous motives that I wouldn't dare make an orchestral piece out of lol.
