Prominent Party

Hey guys,This is my first attempt in writing for a string trio, so I thought I might share it with you in hopes of some input and advice, since I know many of you guys know very much about this kind of music. I've included a rough audio demo, and again: don't use the YC player - it's only a demowww.thomas.bryla.dk/prominentparty.pdfwww.thomas.bryla.dk/brylastrtrio2.mp3Thanks,Thomas

Quick question:

why the chord changes?

  • Author

For my own sake during arranging. To keep an overview of what I wanted. Since I'm a jazzer I'm used to chords like these.

Of course when I'll make parts for players, the chords will be omitted.

Sorry I can't listen to your piece now, I have to leave in about 5 minutes, I couldn't help but notice thought that some jerk gave you a 1 star rating which I doubt this deserves. No song deserves that. So I'll give you 10 stars to help bring it up! Anyway, I will try to listen to this later k? :)

Hey Dorby -

You're welcome to listen to it anytime. Didn't notice the 1-star, and if I may say so myself, it isn't that bad. 7 people including you have seen the piece.... one of which I suspect to be a spammer... (did anyone say tracker?)

If you can upon listening, you're free to change the 10 to anything you like :)

Best,

Thomas

Um. Well. I love this music! Your audio demo was excellent. 10/10
