Dance of the Fairies

Featured Replies

Just a little thingy for piano that had to come out. I like the theme but the development is lazy. I basically go through variations of the first three notes.

Dance of the Fairies

The ending! The ending! Needs fixed.

You know my comments ;)

Fixed. ^^

I went to comment, but the song isn't playing now. D:

Going off of memory, though, I liked the energetic and fairy-like (derp) quality of the piece. Very evocative of fairies. Fairies. I'd give a better comment, but the 'file not found' is...a problem. Nice piece though!

Nice, fairylike indeed. I liked how it has the overall sense of a romantic piece, but there are some interesting harmony switches here and there which gives it a more contemporary sense. These are the kind of pieces which I believe most people will enjoy, even when they generally don't listen to classical music or contemporary (art-)music.

The only thing which I can't stand in this piece is the ending! I wanted to hear a V-I after that high A flat note. Something like: the high A flat in m55, followed by the B flat above it, then a B flat one octave lower, and then the E flat in between the two B flat-s.

Well done.

Aha! xD

But the end was already fixed, and I like it that way.

V-I is too down to earth for fairies. :P

I like the ending. I think Berlioz did exactly what the music wanted.

Awesome! Romantic, energetic, exploratory yet tasteful. Werd.

Thanks for sharing.

Cute, challenging, wistful, fun...I loved it!

As always, Berlioz, you have a good piece here. Although, It would be fun if you wrote something a bit more modern though... just once maybe. ;P
